The FT40 is not simply a higher-capacity version of a general material handler. Its combination of a three-stage 10.5 m boom, stabilizers and heavy-duty structure makes it suitable for construction environments where materials need to be lifted, positioned and repositioned across changing work areas.
Heavy-duty frame engineered for high effective payloads
The FT40 uses a torsion-resistant heavy-duty frame with a closed structural design and substantial material thickness. This robust construction helps the machine safely carry high effective payloads while maintaining structural integrity during repeated lifting and handling operations.
Three steering modes help solve positioning problems on site
Construction sites rarely provide unlimited space around every load. Front-wheel steering supports normal travel, four-wheel steering reduces turning requirements, and crab steering can help with lateral positioning. This gives the FT40 more options when approaching buildings, trucks and restricted work zones.
Hydraulic efficiency follows the workload
The load-sensitive hydraulic system and electro-proportional valve control adjust hydraulic response according to the operating demand. This supports controlled boom and attachment movements while avoiding the need to rely solely on high hydraulic output throughout every working cycle.
Power and mobility for demanding site conditions
An 85 kW diesel engine, four-wheel drive, wet drive axle and 400/70-24 tubeless tires give the FT40 the mechanical foundation for construction work. Hydraulic braking and electronically controlled travel further support repeated movement around the jobsite, while end-position damping helps smooth boom operation.
